Hello author I just finished reading Better Than Milkshakes, Better Than Boys and wow what a ride. The final confrntation scene with Mackenzie’s mom really stood out to me especially how Alex stayed strong and spoke up for her love. It felt so raw and real.
Quick question when you wrote that moment where Alex says I love your daughter and your prejudice is not gonna change that did you always plan for Alex to be that bold or did it evolve as you wrote her character?

@tangleteaser Oh wow that actually surprised me I didn’t even realize it at first but I read this story back in August! I completely forgot the title until your reply jogged my memory haha. It’s amazing how that final scene still stuck with me though it really shows how powerfully you wrote it. Anyway thank you so much for replying!

Funnily enough I had the ending planned out before I wrote the book! I based the book on the song daughter by L Devine, so always knew I wanted to finish it that way!
