I'm doing well, I hope you too!! ❤️ MC's father didn't want to rely on the FBI because this "case" was including his wife and daughter—mostly his wife, so I suppose he wants to find the killers himself to justice Elaine and MC that's left completely broken. At the dinner though, he offered to MC the final solution to call for the FBI's help in order to get over this nightmare of hide and seek his daughter has been in for months, but MC still chose him to take over her mother's case. In two words, it's clearly a personal matter for Rowan and he wants to be the one to serve justice for the sake of his wife and the love he still has for her. I hope it made sense XD

btw, I've reread sinful and I'm now absolutely hooked on renegade, at first I was reluctant to read it because it seemed even deeper than sinful by just the description, and with how it's going, wow. for someone who's first language is not english, your writing is quite impressive, but I'm sure you've heard it all before.
well, I'm requesting that you also post the new chapter to ao3 if you forgot, my tv doesn't log into wattpad, I tried everything, even searching up my own fan fiction, to then go into my profile and find you from my following since my tv isn't allowing me to even search up users, acting like renegade over here. however, I remembered spotting sinful on ao3, so it was just my luck when I saw renegade three spots down after searching leon kennedy. not able to use my phone alot and I don't own a laptop right now so my tv is the next best thing, please update the chapters ao3 if it's not much of a hassle.

@aathaiv , @I-AM-A-BRICK Alina never tried to flirt with Carlos. She only talks to him now through phone calls to know about MC and when she can see her. There's nothing romantic from Alina's side. She respects MC's feelings and is the one who encouraged MC to confess to Carlos. Also, Alina got cheated on by her ex, Myles, with a friend of hers, so she's heartbroken, tho tries to hide it. And yes, she is in fact secretly jealous of MC, just like MC is jealous of Alina. Sorry if it was unclear in the chapters hehe! I might rewrite it better later on.

@Djiebd There is a reason he has done that. It's written after it happened in "his POV". In conclusion, Leon had a plan - he believed using his charm and seduction would have led Alina to open up to him. His plan was to make her feel comfortable around him, even with intimacy, so she could perhaps trust him enough to share information about MC and her family for what it seems to bring this operation to an end himself!

I have two news to share with you, and I'd like to start with the bad one first XD
Bad news is that I'm hit with writer's block on Renegade...ooh?! Well, kind of. I know what the next chapter is going to be about but I still have it XD
Good news is now that I'm hit with it, I think it'd be best to finish and post the bonus chapter of Sinful! (I think you guys deserve it after the last two chapters of Renedage XD!
So yeah! Started with school/college now, so I will announce a day before I post the chapter!
