the scariest thing is that israel doesn’t even try and hide their ethnic cleansing.

the nazis did it quitely and no one really knew what was happening until it was too late. israel blankly tells the world they will continue to bomb gaza, continue their genocide on people, continue to bomb schools and hospitals and shelters and no one ever wants to help palestinian people.

“but october 7th!” how about the 112 massacres that israel commited against palestinian people? how about the thousands of hostages they took and killed? how about the ongoing genocide? how about the fact they parade dead children and leave only heads with their parents? how about they bombed the only hospital where cancer patients got their treatment? how about refusing to allow any humanitarian aid to get to gaza? or how they starved thousands of people?

there are palestinian people who are older than israel. i saw an interview with a lady that said that her only wish is to return home and that she wishes to die there. she can’t do that because that is now the state of israel. her home is gone and she can’t ever return

it truly breaks my heart to see a video of a father grieving his dead daughter (or the head that was left because israel’s attack ripped her body away) and the comments will still be “october 7th” or “don’t start a war you can’t finish LMAO”

these are innocent civilians. these are children born a year, two years ago that have nothing to do with israel. these were kids that had dreams and hopes for the future and never got a chance to experience everything that was awaiting for them.

“i’m not falling for propaganda!” probably said for someone who voted for israel in eurovision — israel has spent an insane amount of money to sell out the sob story of the representative, they filmed an insane amount of ads where she speaks in multiple languages and begs for support and votes. this is actually insane how much they care about a singing contest and not about the genocide they’re committing

targaryenphobic

@pixiiedusts yes!! there's also no way that my country gave them 6 points, knowing well that over 90% of our people support palestine either. and knowing that israel was LOW on public charts before eurovision started and then suddenly they're #2??? how did they get 300 points?? from who??? not to mention they were literal protests on the red carpet when israeli singer came out & she was booed by the entire arena too

pixiiedusts

eurovision is just a representation of political propaganda fed STRAIGHT to the mouthes that need the reaffirmation that they should be complicit in this genocide. there is no WAY on earth that the public of ireland voted for israel, let alone give them as many points as they did???? its all fabricated to ignore the actual protests happening there, and how their country’s history is deeply rooted in speaking up for the oppressed

like did they not say they’re a country from the middle east? why do they care so much for a european contest?

“but the turtles :(“ if you care more about the turtles than the palestinian people starving you’re actually sick. like think for two seconds — do you think they would eat them if they weren’t being starved? if israel wasn’t actively refusing any humanitarian help to enter gaza? for food and water to get to the people? would you also not eat anything you could get in this situation?

& while i’m on the topic of eurovision, they continue to shadow palestinian flags in the crowd, they refused to film the protest on the red carpet, their hosts continued to position themselves so the flags couldn’t be seen & they muted the crowd while israel performed so you couldn’t hear their boos but eurovision isn’t political right?

targaryenphobic

just a reminder — after finding out israel got into eurovision finale once more — that eurovision is a political contest. “how did they get in??” because voters from norway who voted for croatia got a message back saying ‘thank you for voting for israel!’ because no matter how many protests there will be against israel, eurovision will never remove them

bennettsluvvr

@targaryenphobic and so many singers from previous years have said that they think that israel should not be in the contest and they still participate as a country

@targaryenphobic unfortunately, every year they will qualify because moroccanoil who is an ambassador of eurovision is an israeli company but like every year they send the same type of song and they qualify when other countries send better songs and they don't qualify for the final

@targaryenphobic funny cs if israelis just went back to their homelands they'd be more than fit for EUROvision
