@CarmenJohnson599 i’ve seen a lot of videos of americans in literal tears saying how happy they are about europeans (from what i’ve seen) are protesting in their name against their government and the comments are usually about that too. and they also use protests in germany too like as if the country isn’t going against their own far right government

@targaryenphobic I didn’t know much about the director but the fact that’s what he thought is terrible idk how the movie even won in the first place people barely knew about it before it won 

@ctrlbrook it wouldn’t be better if it was a regular movie either. it was filmed by a french director in france while being set in mexico. the director said he didn’t need to do any research about mexico, its people or culture because “he knows everything he needed to know”. it’s full of mexican stereotypes and just not a good representation of what mexico is. not to mention, they treated cartel activities like it’s nothing while it’s a real life problem that costs hundreds of their lives. trans people hated it, mexican people hated it because it’s just not good nor a good representation. not to mention the god awful songs that seem to have only one beat and the awful accents because some actors aren’t fluent in spanish. i love zoe & i’m happy that she’s getting the recognition but i just wished she could’ve got it for any other role than this!

This happens with people in southern states too because they think they’re all republicans. They truly think that one community represents the whole state and it’s fucking stupid. LA firefighters are literally mostly incarcerated people, and what about the people that died? They deserved that? No they didn’t, celebrities still lost their house and loved ones just like regular people. I wish people learned more empathy omg
