@shortandguts i’d definitely say have a lot already written and prepared before you publish the story! drama and suspense really adds to it. oh, and cliffhangers!!! cliffhangers suck but imo it keeps readers wanting to keep reading if that makes sense. that’s all i can think of at the moment (i’m tired asf rn)
