   you know you have asian parents when they physically and mentally abuse you about an A. they call you worthless, disgusting, and you'll never get a wife/husband, sigh. you know you have asian parents when doctors/lawyers are the only job on this earth, and you need money to provide for them when they're elder. you know you're asian when you're forced into medical/law school, and forced to do what 
          /they/ want for you. you know you're asian when you're consistently body shamed. amen.

wanna know what i find beautiful? i find beauty in other individuals, i find beauty in the finding of your only. we live life to find our other half, we need our other half to be the whole. being 1/2 is not enough, but being 2/2 is. soulmates fascinate me, and i hope one day to find my own.
