@tdtditittdtd I’d say to get your feet wet with a short story then, even if it turns out to be a middle chapter to something more. Just try to write a little to get something out there and find your style. No alarm clocks! Try writing say a 2k story, then a 5k one, and feel the difference. Keep challenging yourself and discovering your boundaries. Try different POVs so you can see which you prefer. Same with genres and sub genres. The more you write, even in small amounts, the more you’ll learn about what stories you like to tell.
