[ VIPER - first meeting ]
          
          viper whirled around to face his lazy apprentice, who was dawdling again, looking at butterflies and flowers. he sighed. "tulippaw, just go back to camp. clearly you aren't learning anything on this hunting patrol." she shrugged and turned to go back home with a flick of her tail. viper rolled his eyes and continued to stalk through the forest, sniffing the air for sign of prey nearby. the only scent that hit his nose was not that of prey, nor any cat from his clan. it was the scent of another clan, with a hint of herbs as well. as he was sniffing, he didn't notice a small twig on the ground in front of him, and stepped on it, making a loud cracking sound. suddenly, a fluffy white head popped out from behind a bush and stared at him wide-eyed.

the brown tabby she-cat looked at the one in front of her, her yellow eyes blazing. she’d seen enough cats to know this one was different. she approached cautiously, and spoke. “hello! i’m cocoamist! who might you be?”
