Okay maybe I'm being a bit of a hypocrite with the "dcamu is good because it's 'graphic'" part when I can't even watch Joker without skipping the "scissors" scene. Haha. But what I'm just trying to say is that dceu shouldn't try hard imitating mcu's style because first, c'mon. IT'S DC DUDE. Maybe they can lay down the detailed gory scenes, but they could at least make the themes itself and not just the BRIGHTNESS darker even just a bit. Second, Marvel is owned by Disney so it's understandable that they would make the movies PG-13. BUT if MARVEL could be graphic with Deadpool, DC COULD DO IT IN DCEU, no one is holding them back.

I can't believe how I missed the Marvel movies and shows. I was traumatized with Marvel RP Community's toxicity that I forgot I shouldn't think of those horrible people who portrayed my fave characters as the characters themselves.

Ngl, dcau/dcamu is much much better than dceu. The latter is top tier, but the former is god tier. Honestly, I think DCAU is so fucking good because it's DC. And when I say DC, I mean dark. And not like the dceu style icantseeanythingliterally dark. The themes are dark, there's no filter, it' graphic, and they're not trying too hard to imitate Marvel (particularly mcu), which dceu appears to do. In dcau, there's swearing, there's top tier fights, no one cares about age (damian literally climbed mt. everest when he was four), there's blood, and all that shit that you can't see in dceu. Best part for me is Damian's growth and the fact that DamiRae/DemonBirds/RobRae whatever-their-ship-name-is-i-love-them is fucking CANON. I can say that dcau is better than mcau, from what I've watched. Marvel's animation is pretty good, but regarding the plot, story, characters? I'm DC all the way. Dcau doesn't make me feel sleepy and the voice actors are just so good. And that's coming from someone who doesn't watch english dubbed anime. I've watched Iron Man Technovore, and it wasn't meh, but I won't give it five stars like I would with live action (mcu). Point is, you guys should watch it too, it won't disappoint.
