im WAY too lazy to write a pitt fic so ill just post the plot line I’ve imagined: 
          
          my character is an attending at the pitt, and the day of season one is the one year anniversary of her and jack abbott’s miscarriage. The kicker is…they were never actually a couple, the baby came from a one night stand and over the course of the four month pregnancy they kinda forced themselves to have this couple/family dynamic that they both ended up really (like REALLY) enjoying. They evolved the way they thought they needed to for their baby. However, when  they lost the baby, any reason for them to be together was lowkey null and they both grieving. now they are still emotionally tethered (diabolical yearning), but they’re not a couple. So they are both dealing with this in season one and obviously she’s gonna be the one to find him on the roof in hour one and then he’s gonna tell her she can call him throughout the day and of course eventually she has a panic episode and calls him even when he’s not in on his shift blah blah blah also thinking she gets st@bbed by the end of the shift too, which obvi brings them together also
