it's been a while, huh? im getting a lot of interactions on tiktok for this fanfic and suddenly my brain went to mush, all inspiration for the current chapter disappeared.
i love creating ideas for the future of this book that i forgot to think of ideas for the current chapter, im getting there though but i decided to re read all my chapters and re edit them, just to get my head back to where I am. wont be too long, love you all!

hi guys,
chapter 9 will be delayed a couple days til Sunday, at the very latest. I’ve been sick this week and working in 30° heat in a cafe with no ac has made me 10x worse.
I’ll make sure to make a longer one as an apology for the wait, I’ve already got 3k words written so it’s just a case of getting a few more bits in.
this chapter that’s coming is when Alfie is properly introduced so it’ll be worth the wait.
