We have had pet finches for about nine years and they have been a constant throughout my school years. Due to the pandemic, we had not been able to buy new ones, and their numbers had been dwindling and only one was left. We gave her away to a kid with pet birds today. I don't know whether I should be happy or sad, so let's just say I am happy for her and sad for myself? I wish her a lot of new friends in her new home.
