I have just discovered wattpad after attending the Perth International Arts Festival Margaret Atwood interview held at the Perth Concert Hall as part of the Writer's Festival. She is an intellectual wit, a highly entertaining speaker in addition to a wonderful writer and passionate environmental activist.

As for me,  I live in Perth Western Australia, grew up in the 'wheatbelt' country of this state afar arriving from England in1964 with my parents and two sisters.  

I am a Head of Department of English in a suburban senior high school in Perth. I constantly indulge in reading and have the pleasure of coming across young people who like to write stories. Many of these teenagers use a variety of online avenues to share their work and this will provide another source of inspiration for them. 
 
I have just created a blog called 'Arts and Minds' (courtesy of Google bloggers) .I use this to communicate about books or articles I have read, other blogs, art, exhibitions, and philosophy.

I love the bush, the ocean, travelling,reading, being with my family and friends, antiques, jewellery, anything blue/indigo and much more.

I'm looking forward to enjoying all that wattpad has to offer.
