Hey, guys. Just something that's been bothering me a little; is anyone bothered about the fact that I intend to write a few chapters towards the end of my humanised Lion Guard story focusing on a teenage pregnancy? I had planned it this way from the beginning but I am just slightly bothered by this. Other pregnancy ideas I have been contemplating over the course of the story, mostly told via flashbacks: Sarabi with Mufasa ~ Obviously with Simba as the result! Maybe Mufasa had something wrong with his body that meant he couldn't father any more children? Sarabi with Scar ~ Scar knows he needs Mufasa's widow on his side after killing Mufasa, both to give the appearance of a smooth transition to new leadership and to show who's now boss of the Abioye family. [I already have ideas for Sarabi's children with him] Zira with Scar ~ with Nuka as the result; Scar rejects Nuka as a political protégé and they try again, only to result in twin daughters Zira with OC ~ Zira's relationship with Scar deteriorates following the perceived failure of Nuka and she hopes a healthy child will get her back in his good graces Nala with Simba ~ resulting in Kopa, Kiara and Kion Nala with Scar? ~ This could explain why Nala left in order to join the Rebellion against Scar Nala with OC? ~ This one's been bothering me because I don't want it to seem as if Nala cheated on Simba, which is something she'd never do in my mind Vitani with Kion ~ I've already been discussing this one Rani with OC Kiara with Kovu ~ most likely as young adults Zuri with OC Tiifu with Baliyo Makini with OC OC with Zazu ~ I already have plans for Zazu's children and why said OC breaks up with Zazu Does anyone have any plot ideas they'd care to suggest for any of these, or any children that may result? I already have some ideas for the children of the members of the Lion Guard.

@periwinkle172009 From what I understand, if the British King were to die with no heir, it would be Parliament who determined which eligible family member succeeded the throne, or, alternatively, if there were no such candidate, then Parliament would discuss an alternative succession plan or abolish the Monarchy entirely. [my knowledge of British succession laws is very poor] In the Holy Roman Empire, after the Emperor died, a small body of nobles called the Prince ~ Electors would elect a new Emperor. The Mongols had a system wherein after the Khan died, all the leading nobles returned to Karakorum, the Mongol capital, to elect a new Khan. Any outfit ideas for Rani and Baliyo? I have been writing a chapter in which Rani learns she's been promised in marriage to the Son of a neighbouring Kingdom, and spends a while musing on her wish to be free from the role of Crown Princess, which she feels trapped in, and another in which she tries out for Kiara's Cheerleading team.

@textahoy Hmm when a kingdom has no heirs usually something like a voting system takes place in the Royal Council to select a new ruler

@periwinkle172009 Yes, Rani is in for a rough birth, and yes she will be living away from her parents for the first time in her life, but she was in a position wherein she had to chose between pleasing her parents or losing her children, and the thought of giving up the most precious things in her world ~ her kids ~ is just unacceptable to Rani, even if they're not even born yet, so she had no choice but to leave Tree Kingdom forever. Her brother and his new bride will also be with her in Pridelands City, as will her Aunt, Uncle, and new other half, so it's not like she'd be entirely alone, and she'll also have plenty of support from her friends at Pridelands High, so she still has a good life to look forwards to with people she loves and who love her in return, and plus she no longer has to worry about being perfect all the time to fit into her people's ideas about what a Queen should be and can just focus on an ordinary life wherein she controls her own destiny. I've given Rani's boyfriend the name "Khan" so far, which means "Ruler, King," or "Prince" in Turkic, and as a reference to a character from Star Trek, and, as for who the new Tree Kingdom ruler will be, perhaps Vaya, or rather her humanised counterpart? Vaya has kids of her own, is well liked by the commoners, and is an experienced, wise and thoughtful leader, so Rani might recommend her as the new Crown Princess.
