Here is a little excerpt from a WIP I have been working on and really excited about. This book currently has 107 036 words and will be part of a giveaway I'll be doing if I hit 2K!

Honestly, all I wanted was a couple of hours of rest—and maybe some aspirin. But, of course, Sunstreaker noticed. “Aw, what’s wrong, Reave? Tired?” he drawled, his voice dripping with that insufferable smirk. “Or maybe it’s just that time of the month?”
I froze, my hands dropping from my face. My cheeks heated up, mortified at the implication. He knew. How in the world he knew, I didn’t want to think about, but knowing Sunstreaker, he was probably scanning every shift in my hormone levels like it was some kind of Autobot amusement.
“Are you serious?” I managed, my voice betraying just a hint of the embarrassment that was clawing at me. “You—do you have nothing better to do than keep tabs on my... bodily functions?”
His optics gleamed, the teasing glint in them unmistakable. “Oh, come on. You’re human. The exhaustion, the moodiness... it’s practically written all over you.” I gritted my teeth, glaring up at him. “Moodiness? Really? Have you met yourself?”
He laughed, crossing his arms. “Good try. But I’m just saying—you humans are practically an open book, and you, Reave, are no exception. It’s cute, really.”
Cute. He called this cute. I could feel the embarrassment crawling up my neck, and I prayed it wasn’t obvious. I wanted to shrivel up and disappear.
“Look,” I said, trying to keep my voice steady, “I’d appreciate it if you didn’t, you know, broadcast the state of my hormones to the entire base.”
Sunstreaker’s grin only widened. “Oh, come on, it’s not like everyone can tell.” He leaned down, optics narrowing with a smirk. “Just me. And maybe anyone with half a processor. Really, I’d think you’d be grateful I care so much about my subordinates’... wellness.” The way he said wellness made me want to scream. I sucked in a deep breath, mustering as much dignity as I could.
