Advertisements are so weird...like, I got a car ad for Volvo, not knowing what to expect:
They give you a long story about a man and a woman, pregnant, in love. Throughout the whole ad, the man and his mother are on a phone call, discussing the future child, who he believes will be a girl. It gets you all attached to these people, showing the life of their daughter as the three progress through life, the tough times, the great times, the whole shebang. Then, A CAR SWOOPS IN TOWARDS THE MOTHER. SCREEN GOES BLACK. HOSPITAL.

Then it is revealed that the car, the safest Volvo car to have been made, never hit the mother. DID I JUST GET FREE TRAUMA FOR A CAR AD?!
