I just found out that there’s a British and American pronunciation for ‘Johansson’ (as in, Scarlett Johansson). British people tend to use the original Scandinavian pronunciation yo-HAN-son, but Americans (and Scarlett herself) use the spelling of the word and say jo-HAN-son. And now I don’t know what pronunciation to use because it’s her name but I’m British and I’m having something of a crisis here help what should I do

@widowscarter I think I’m gonna go with jo-HAN-son because at the end of the day it’s her name so she can decide how she pronounces it

well I always said yo-han-son because that’s..the correct danish way...but I watched so many interviews where they introduced her as jo-han-son that it’s accidentally replaced yo-han-son. I don’t know what to think either tbh.
