Hi I'm Carmen. My pronouns are they/them. 

I used to write on Wattpad when I was a young teen but lost interest in fictional, lighthearted stories. I'm in my early 20's now and am filling the writing void in a new way. 

Welcome to my brain. 

I plan to write about the things that are hard to talk about, so please don't expect stories for the faint of heart. Being a minority in the United States has caused me to experience a lot of things that I feel are unjust and simply wrong. One of the ways I want to combat this is by just letting out my worldly frustrations on paper. I want stories like mine and of those that I've encountered to be heard. We are more alike than we know and everyone deserves to be understood. 

You are not alone. We can change the world, you and me. Lets start by destigmatizing very real issues people face in this country through conversation and story-telling.
