I find it unnecessary to be honest :/ A simple thank you would do, but the follow up reminder that you can't reciprocate my feelings wasn't needed. I know, you mean well, but I wasn't expecting that. Imagine my shock when I read that. I never brought it up again, coz I know the answer already --- just to be reminded by it again on Christmas Day :/
