Yesterday, in 1989, the Nintendo GameBoy was first shown at the Consumer Electronics Show in Chicago, revealing the console for the first time in North America.
Also yesterday, my brother and I helped to restore my mom’s GameBoy, which had lost its screen and had a corroded battery chamber. It would not start before we repaired it, and it now works almost perfectly.
In conclusion, that was pretty cool.
