If one more person decides to go and expose personal information about me, I don't think I'll have any choice but to shut down my writing accounts. Not just Wattpad, this has happened over on Ao3 as well. I already have a secondary account on this app (no, I'm not telling you the username, don't ask) because people can't keep their mouths shut. Please don't be a dick . If I really wanted anyone to know my address, you'd either already know because I trust you, or it would be directly mentioned in my bio. Seeing as how it's not in my bio, I don't want strangers knowing where I live.
I think that's just common human decency to not tell complete strangers that you know someone and then flippantly give out personal information about them. I don't think you guys understand how potentially dangerous that is, especially in this day and age. There are people out there who pose as young kids or teenagers to get us ACTUAL teenagers to trust them. And as soon as we let slip the wrong ifnormation, BOOM. People start to disappear.
I know that sounds dramatic and all, but it happens. Please let me live my life. Leave me alone, and I'll leave you alone.
