Well hello, whoever is reading this! I am well aware of how long I have been away, and I want to apologize for that. (Three years???? That doesn’t seem right, even though it is...) 
          Anyway, I just wanted to say that after an unofficial 3 year hiatus, I am actually well on my way to finishing up the last chapter(s) of A Step Outside the Door!!!! I have never wanted to be that person who leaves a story unfinished, and I’ve literally had a reminder set in my phone since November of 2018 to finish it, but I could never get past the first sentence. My life got rough for a while, then better, then worse, then better again, and then a whole pandemic happened, and now I’m here once more. I’ve changed as a person, friend, and as a writer, and I’d like to think that I’ve gotten better at being all 3 of those things. 
          (I logged onto Wattpad for the first time in years a few hours ago, and I wondered, “why are all these people still here??? My story isn’t that good!” But seeing that there are still some people that have found my works and read them, and actually enjoy them, (despite my hindsight pointing out some crappy and cliche writing and formatting and such) I’m honestly amazed.)
          
          So now I’m here to finish what I started, as I am sure I have promised a few times before, but I’m actually serious this time. This has been bugging me for ages, and it’s time that I finish ASOTD. It’s time I give you all the ending you deserve to have. :)

          Woah... I've been so busy lately I can't even think straight.  
          It took me three tries to write that sentence correctly... That's sad.  
          Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know that the next chapter of ASOTD will in fact be out soon.  I haven't had much time to write recently, and that accompanied with writers block doesn't make for much progress.  I'm probably half way done now, and I'm sure I will have it out by next weekend.  Sorry, I know that makes it feel like forever.  
          Anyway, I should get some sleep, I'm so sleep deprived right now

Hey! Just wanted to let you guys know that (I'm not dead) the next chapter will be coming out soon! I started it last week and really didn't know what to do with it.  Plus I'm deciding that it would be better to have it in one chapter instead of two since I have big plans for the chapter after that.  It's getting a little long, and I'm a little drained from school, even my three day break was so full of stuff to do that I had almost no time to write! 
          So basically, sorry for taking so long! It will hopefully be up in a day or two, but almost definitely by this week.  Thanks for being patient!
