"Hey, Peggy." Steve smiled gently.

He smiled back at her, playing with his hands. "I'm kind of thankful for the way things turned out. I've got great friends, a great boyfriend. I'm still fighting wars but against aliens."

@onyourleft-- "There's nothing for you to feel sorry about. You did what needed to be done. Perhaps coordinates would have been useful, but that's in the past." She gave him kind smile, "That would be lovely."

" Peggy..??"
-chorusgirl
Hey Peggy, I was wondering if you wanted to go dinner and dancing?

Jake had been probably overly concerned about Peggy. It was weird though. He had friends who knew about Rage, but somehow it felt different with her. She wasn't exactly his friend, was she? They'd barely talked a few times before and it was just to help her find him technically which was even worst. He didn't think she would ruin his life, he knew she could but he wanted to trust her and maybe that was the odd part of it all. He wanted to trust someone who clearly was scared of him. Maybe that was it, the fact that she was so scared of him, his friends weren't afraid of him, they weren't even afraid of Rage but Peggy was different, he could see it in her eyes that day. Probably the right choice to make was simple walk away and completely forget about her, yet there he was; trying to talk to her once again. ❝Peggy?❞ He said in a soft voice, the last thing he wanted was to scare her.

@ballhandling "I am – is there a reason I shouldn't be?" Peggy tilted her head a little as she asked. "If you're worried, I am a woman of my word and my lips are sealed." She assured him with the slightest of smiles.

❝Yes... I mean, no, not really, I just wanted to talk to you, make sure you were okay❞ He didn't want to make things weird, he truly just wanted to make sure she was fine, hoping that she didn't completly hated him

@ballhandling Yes, Peggy had been scared. Though an alien monster was one of the least frightening things she's seen once she thought about it. (A hungover, hangry Dugan was in her top five times she was genuinely scared for her wellbeing.) Her fear had died down and been replaced with—much to her surprise— curiosity. When she saw the man she gave him a quizzical look. "Is there something I can help you with Mister Rothwell?"

my my , what a surprise . the infamous agent carter has come to me for help . to what do I owe the pleasure of being in your presence ? * ilya's tone was obviously sarcastic and teasing in nature , but she couldn't help but smile at how melodramatic it sounded coming out of her own mouth *

" she can get quite violent , it is exhilarating . " with a frown , ilya lifted her hand and checked on the status of her nails , they looked relatively decent for shite they've been through . " he was a president of russia from 1961 to 1990 . he was killed in 2007 . "

@intentionsbad "Just remembering a few of Dottie and I's 'confrontations. I didn't realize someone from Iowa could be so–agressive." Peggy remarked dryly. Dottie had stolen her brand, and still kicked herself for not noticing that it was missing. "I don't believe I've heard of him. I'm still trying to catch up on my history."

@-dcadpandrcts You need to remember that we were living in the modern day. We didn't have the technology you do now, but we didn't need it. To be honest, I prefer the ability to not be reached if I'm not near a phone. *She had only recently gotten a smart phone. Peggy didn't like it. Texts would come in constantly and it was expected she replied immedietly. First, she was a very slow texter. Second, she believed people don't need to be available 24/7*

@-dcadpandrcts *In all honesty, very few people asked about her past. Not that she minded. She enjoyed her privacy.* That's a broad question. What kind of answer are you looking for? *Peggy took a sip of her scotch, smiling a little as it burned the tip of her tongue.*
