Once upon a time is so goofy and bad and I love it

the-nerdy-goddess

Ao3 users are already up my cooch about the cast lists to my stories, claiming they’re against tos for ao3… as if I haven’t had cast lists up on ao3 for YEARS. They can pry those out of my cold dead hands

TheWonderfulWiccan

@the-nerdy-goddess yeah, the discourse on the Reddit and groups has been really awful. I’m disappointed in ao3, the beauty of ao3 is everyone is welcome. If we are cruel and judging that makes us just as bad as what they’re supposedly “afraid” of. Personally I’ve had a few people flood my comments with hate about the content I write but they can report me all they want lmao, my stuff won’t get deleted lmao. As long as you tag appropriately, don’t have placeholders (which is basically the biggest ao3 etiquette rule.) the volunteers who run ao3 won’t delete fics.

@TheWonderfulWiccan the cast lists are part of my stories! Also the ao3 users getting all offended is SO insane. acting like some Wattpad users haven’t been in fandom for YEARS

If it’s apart of a story which has chapters and story content it is NOT against the terms of service. However, if the cast list is a stand alone people will report it unfortunately. The Wattpad migration to ao3 seems to have the ao3 users up in arms which is weird cuz they can just mute users and vice versa they don’t want to see lmao.

Due to the new content guidelines, I will be migrating over to ao3 and I will have to manually do it. I am NOT posting any new content at this time, so if you get that notification, that is why

the-nerdy-goddess

@Annadog2005 they’re extremely vague on purpose. My fics could be argued to violate the guidelines (even if they’re not) so I’m just ensuring they can’t just be taken down

When I start releasing Sin again, it’ll take the Tuesday + Thursday spot because something else will take Mon, wed, Friday :) but that book won’t be released until the end of April

the-nerdy-goddess

@BlueTubePJ Morgan will be returning in late April 2027. I’ll def have enough plot to release by then :) - as for your other question, I had Good Daughter releases and Sin releases, I’m p sure Good Daughter was Tuesday and Thursday and Sin was Mon, wed, and fri but I might be wrong, either way, what I posted on my board will be the schedule I’m planning for. I don’t have an official date for when Sin is coming back yet tho. Might be sooner, might be later. I need a plot first.

Sin is on a brief hiatus as I figure out what tf I’m doing with it, I’m also distracted by another fic I’m working on that I also think you guys would like

the-nerdy-goddess

@nbbrownie petrichor was the first story I ever wrote smut into! But sin is the first one that I’ve used solely to play around with different methods of smut. Petrichor was def a dom/sub dynamic but I was a little bit of a chicken ngl with going as dark as I wanted to and then Sin I’ve played around more with cnc and such. Also, thank you so much. Trust it’ll be worth the wait!

@the-nerdy-goddess Just gotta say, Sin is definitely my favorite right now, the story is just so catchy. And honestly, for your first try, your smut scenes are so goodd

@the-nerdy-goddess Just finished re-reading Sin I guess I'm so used to your writing style now that other authors just don't hit the same. I've already read Petrichor, and I just started The Good Daughter so hyped to see what's coming next

I just want to address my most recent chapter in Sin, which was apparently controversial. For one, it’s not even categorized as dubious consent. Mickey outright makes the choice to proceed with the scene. She internally acknowledges that she CAN leave as well as the fact that Klaus never tells her she can’t say no. Elijah also isn’t that far away. If Jackson needed blood that badly, Elijah would help. This is also labeled as a DARK fic. It’s not sunshine and rainbows. Don’t like, don’t read. Also the fact I’ve had two comments who are mad at Klaus’ behavior toward Mickey but not when Elijah threatened to fuck her in front of Klaus as a means to lay claim on her…

the-nerdy-goddess

@by_the_sounding_sea apparently not. Like why are you complaining that there are dark scenes in a fic labeled as dark?

@the-nerdy-goddess Are people not reading the "borderline dead dove" part of the TW list like what are y'all expecting here? I didn't see anything wrong with it, I thought it was a great chapter and a really good scene!
