wait, what’s this? a book-related message for the first time in twenty years?? wOAH.

          sorry for being kinda inactive on here, but i’m hoping to change that in the new year!

          first of all, the long overdue last chapter for ‘charles in the chocolate factory’ is currently in the works, albeit quite haltingly. hopefully it can be completed by april or at least the first half of 2018 (i find that making strict-ish deadlines for myself somehow make me less motivated?? so i’m trying to avoid that by setting the bar low lmao).

          after that’s completed, i have a new work that’s also currently in progress called ‘supernovae’. it’s sorta a mixture of teen fiction, adventure, and slice-of-life (mostly the latter) about characters that i hold really close to my heart. it is one of my most diverse works so far so i’m very excited for it!!! (hint: lgbtq+ rep, poc rep, disability rep, etc (: )

          might also have some art related works in store but who knows whether i’ll go through with them all during pt3 year lmao. (´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥`) malaysian followers older than fourteen can relate lol.

            CHARACTER DRIVEN STORIES ARE THE BEST. good characters = good stories. if you can't get people to care about the characters, then it doesn't matter how good the plot is. IM SURE YOULL DO GREAT IM EXCITED.

            Alice Oseman is an amazing author, I adore Radio Silence. Its so character driven but also there's so much plot and I love the themes and characters in the book! It's a very interesting book and it's so refreshing to read a book that's not afraid to tackle some serious issues but is also really fun, if that makes sense? Haha I really liked Radio Silence, which is why I'm really excited for her next book, I Was Born For This!

            I've read a couple of chapters of Solitaire, and Tori seems like a very interesting narrator, so I've always wanted to read more but haven't gotten the opportunity yet.

@NegativeWriter26
            aAAAAAH THANK YOU?? SO MUCH???
            ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡ I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR EXCITEMENT AND ENCOURAGEMENT!! also, thanks for sticking with charles and amaya for so long (,: it’s real heartwarming kagdksbd

            yea!!! it’s mostly character-driven and has no definite plot, so i’m kinda afraid some would find it boring but that’s okay! i’ll do my best!!

            and i have! sorta. i’m halfway into it rn but i just can’t find the time to sit down and read bc of schoolwork and stuff lol. my feelings to it are neutral tbh, but not in a bad way ^^ considering that it’s alice oseman’s first (published) book, i can’t really judge it too much lmao.

            tori might not be the most open-minded or optimistic, but i kind of find her pessimistic and cynical attitude refreshing, in a way? idk but that’s just teenagers for you *shrugs* i guess it’s kind of a hit-or-miss with it tbh

            (is radio silence any good? i’ve heard that it is, so i’m considering if i should buy it the next time i’m in a big city but who knows)

            3) also based on your bio, you've read Solitaire by Alice Oseman?? I haven't read Solitaire yet but I've read Radio Silence by her. How is Solitaire?? im debating reading it but it sounds good
