The 13th Blue Cat was a book I once saw in the bookstore when I was a kid. The title and the cover of a blue cat's wide face in the night sky drew me in and I longed to read it. I never did. Now, many years later, the phrase represents, to me, something shrouded in mystery and ever changing. It could mean so many things - an extraterrestrial invasion,  a book unread, a path untook, the mist in the morning, or a cat casted out because he was blue.
