it wasn’t long before desi stopped them in front of a door, allowing the boy to take the initiative and knock. she rolled her eyes at his little comment as she stepped inside, she wasn’t looking for someone with manners. once he was inside and the door had clicked shut, the brunette shrugged out of her damp, stained dress and met the boy’s gaze with an inpatient smile. “you can take your shirt off now.”

“i mean, i’ve never been here before either, but i’m sure i can find us a room,” des shrugged. “just to change in, of course.” not that a misunderstanding of her previous statement would be such a bad thing. with another shrug, the woman took his hand, not risking losing her chance at dry clothing, and began winding her way through the crowd of people.

desi fought a smirk at the boy’s words. that was more like it. she found her eyebrows slipping up again when he admitted to his failure. though getting him shirtless really wasn’t a terrible idea... “alright, i’ll take it. beggars can’t be choosers and all. but let’s at least find somewhere quieter to change. i’m not at work, i’m not giving a striptease to the whole world.”

“does that imply that i’m not pretty, only my dress is?” she asked curiously, red lips pulling back to reveal a half-smile. shaking her head of chocolate waves, the woman began to step away from him. “come on, then. show me where this ‘something’ I’m going to change into is,” she requested, pausing to glance over her shoulder at the boy.

desirae was on the prowl, searching for her next victim — or lover, either was fine. ocean blue eyes had spotted her target just as an icy chill ran down her side. her teeth were clenched as a manicured hand brushed away the apology. “sure you didn’t, sweetie.” looking back, the man was gone. turning now to face the penitent, she smirked as she took him in. “but maybe you can buy my next three drinks to make up for your ‘mistake’.”
