My two favourite things in all the world are reading and writing. I wrote my first (terrible) novel when I was 11 and have been writing (hopefully progressively less terrible) stories since. That very first novel was called "Slayer of Slygons" and contained slimy aliens, blue aliens and alternate dimensions. Pretty much everything I've written since has either magic or sci-fi elements (and often some kind of looming apocalypse) and although I love reading any genre, as long as it's well-written, science fiction and fantasy are my faves.
