I will never forget this day. I woke up to rainy, moody weather and decided to check Wattpad, only to find a red dot on my profile. At first, I thought someone had updated their story. To my utter surprise—I never expected this, especially since I had been hoping for readers to notice my book, The Glory Uncrowned—three amazing people left genuine comments about my work!
I feel so appreciated and positively validated today!
The Glory Uncrowned is a memorable novel for me. I began writing it in 2017, and it has gone through numerous revisions and countless moments when I considered giving up. However, I couldn't stop thinking about the plot, the characters, and the events yet to unfold. I wanted to read it for myself.
After tiring of only imagining the story, I slowly began to come back and write it down over the years. I dedicated myself to my writing, and now, I am happier than ever. I wrote an average of 2,800 words and achieved my writing goals, so I decided it was time to post it. After many moments of overthinking and second-guessing my decision, I finally did it!
Thank you to everyone who took the time to comment and follow my journey. My younger self is overwhelmed with joy; the wait has been worth it!
