@imnotaishxni Blake Lively plays one of the main characters in the new movie “It Ends With Us” - a book about a survivor of domestic abuse by Colleen Hoover. The book itself already got a lot of backlash for romanticizing and glorifying the issues at hand and the author is a problem that I don’t even want to get into right now. The cast is doing press tour right now, where Blake is handling the topics incredibly bad, pretending the movie is a girly fun RomCom… when in all actuality it could be incredibly triggering to see this movie for survivors of DA. However, she is glossing over the issues and spreading a false agenda about the film. There are also a lot of rumors that Blake and Ryan went behind the directors back (Justin Baldoni) to change the script and his vision of the movie. Blake even said in an interview that “Ryan and her work on each other’s stuff all the time and he even wrote some scenes and parts of the scripts”. I know that my problem lies with Blake’s ignorance and not actually Ryan, but since they’re married I can’t see them separately. If you have TikTok or Twitter you could totally do a deep dive into the issues and rumors, there is a lot more that is happening right now.
