Others: Listen to music to cope with stress
          
          My parents: *took my music, speakers and everything related to music away so that I can “study” but then restricting these made me fail in class worse than before* 
          
          :) yep.. that’s my fam.

Parents: We’re not trying to blame you. We’re trying to gently guide you. 
          
          Also parents: *proceeds to talk negatively and harshly and triggers my anxiety and my regret for quitting my piano when I was 6 because I was scared of exams and they said it’s because I was lazy. I was lazy so I was scared.* 
          
          
          What do these parents think? We are humans. We also have regrets like adults have regret over stupid financial things that you could’ve easily avoided. Stop triggering it. 
          
          At least stop that snake talk coming out of your mouth. 
          Just because we’re “kids” doesn’t mean we don’t have feelings. 
          
          Somebody help me out here. How do I manage my emotions and hurt their heart with words just like they do to me? Like, I want them to get the taste of their own medicine but without feeling guilty. They sort of like, deserve to hear it.

Someone help me. 
          
          I wanted to study in my room but my parents made me sit on the dining table with my phone. 
          
          My mom says that I don’t need to sit with “privacy” (there’s literally a camera installed in my room). 
          
          My dad says I shouldn’t be too comfortable. 
          
          
          What do you mean by that? How else will you be productive? 
          
          If thats the case, why can’t my parents sit with me and work? They are literally working from home but they still rented an office to work “peacefully”.  
          They are right for all the reason! My goodness! 
          
          And it reminds me! 
          
          They told me they will support with any career I choose. But when I said I want to choose music, they said no. When I was young I used to want to become a lawyer and my grandma said no. 
          I said I wanted to become a psychologist, they said it’s a very easy and cheap job. Now, the options they give me is, IAS, civil service, doctor. 
          
          Is this the support? And you know the worst part? 
          
          I still love them. Even after all this. 
          
          
          I sometimes feel like taking my little sister with me and run away to live properly without ruining me and my little sister’s childhood.
