Just a heads up for anyone interested: I posted a Shattered Stars short story on my Deviant Art page. If you've read both Shattered Stars and Mother of Stars, check it out: https://www.deviantart.com/thebigeasy66/art/The-White-Angel-A-Shattered-Stars-Short-829586993

If you haven't read them, then the short story won't make much sense.

Here's an update for anyone wondering about the status of Origin and its sequel. After some thought, I've decided to change the title to Shattered Stars, as that makes a bit more sense than Origin (Origin has always been a placeholder title anyway). I am roughly halfway done with editing for publication, so you'll see the title change when I update the story to the final version on Wattpad. (for anyone wondering, I am indeed going to self publish this story on sites like Amazon Kindle. But don't worry! The full story will still be available on this site to read.)

In regards to the sequel, I hope to release the first chapter by the end of this year. I need to get the plot of the first book finalized first before I start on the sequel.

Oh wow. I just read your description on your profile. You had Lyme Disease? My guess is a tick? Sorry if I'm too pushy - I just get so interested in animals. :/ Well, at least you recovered! :D

It's good to know you're all right. I know about ticks . . . they scare me. But you are all right :)

@BestDragonEver Yeah it was a tick apparently. Glad it's all over!

On chapter one, you said to describe the characters in a scene. Help?

          :)

Okay. Thanks

@BestDragonEver Basically, at the very start of the scene, you show the basic details. As the scene progresses, you add more detail. For showing character traits, simply show them acting how they act, instead of telling us how they act.
