@I_love_Polar_Bears Awwww! <3 Well, I haven’t been properly active here in a long time, but I do want to be active again! I’m so glad you’re well and that college isn’t awfully overwhelming :D I’ve been quite busy as of late, but am trying to make time for myself and get back into the swing of writing again. I’m still into Hermitcraft, have improved a lot at art, and have been enjoying reading physical books and fanfics! And yes, we should talk more; I’ve missed youuuu :D

wattpad should have an option that excludes all books related to romance when your looking for something to read.
seriously, wverytime im looking for something action packed, the summary says something along the lines of:
“[insert character name] is a [insert age] single girl in a [insert location] who isn’t lookin for a love life. but when she runs into [insert other character name] everything changes for her”
NO i want something good!

@thebirdfantasy Ooh, you mean a filter option? :0 Now, I am an absolute sap for all the wacky romances and stuff, but there are times when the stories are a bit... similar. So yeah, I would like to take a break from the romance and read a good book. °^° [ Heck- I don't even mind if the romance is a side story. Just give me a story-]

teaching an adult bird how to fly is harder than i thought…
you actually have to help them grow muscles on their wings. they dont automatically now how to fly and just start flying once their feathers grow back.
their wings are too w to lift them up because they’ve never flown before.
it takes around a year before they can fly
IN OTHER WORDS: before you write a character who suddenly get wings. remember to dedicate a few chapters towards them flapping their wings around for muscle growth BEFORE making them fly.

do you ever just write something bice but then ruin it with too much dialogue?
i can’t decide whether to get ride of 80% of the dialouge OR if I should hust redo the entire thing OR if i should discontinue…

@thebirdfantasy Yes! If you look at my book 'The Wizard of X', I have way too much unnecessary information at the start. I'm completely rewriting mine now. With you I suppose it depends on how far into the story you are. Story wise I was only two full chapters into mine.

Random person here but I’m actually a friend of Bird XD Hermitcraft is a minecraft series consisting a bunch of adult youtubers collaborating in seasons (currently season 8) of excellent builds and chaotic nonsense. It’s a great series to binge watch!! I definitely recommend checking out Grian’s season 6-8 series :)
