on that note here’s a thought: why do people abuse small dogs (specifically chihuahuas) to get them to bark? specifically to imitate the “owa owa” noise pudgy (rest in peace) made?
          
          people know that they can TEACH their dogs a trick right? there’s no need to mentally abuse the dog?? literally just google how to teach your dog a speak trick instead of breaking their boundaries for no good reason

it just doesn’t make sense to me. if you love your pet and want them to do something, wouldn’t it make more sense to take the time to teach them instead of doing something that stops them from trusting you?
