I finished the Eldest series in the span of 2 days and finished it currently at 3 am in the morning with bloodshot eyes, had it not been for my classes and busy schedule i would have read it in one sitting. I wanted to say I absolutely loved it. The book not only gave so much character to our main characters but also to the original side characters of P&P. Though I admit I don't really have much to say regarding the book since I only watched the movie. The book was headache inducing and has affected my poor nerves as I read through the passage each second. English is not my first language and have thus stopped at reading P&P at the very first chapter. So pardon me if I only based this review through the current media I was able to view which was the P&P movie from 2005.
Anyway that was not the whole point of me writing this message, I just wanted to say that I absolutely loved the Trilogy. Though I admit some of it may have been dramatic for my tastes, however, who doesn't like a little drama in life. The characters felt so real and I absolutely loved every interaction between them. Don't get me wrong though, I love the original P&P, I really wouldn't read some crumbs left from the story if I didn't like it, but I found the book quite lacking regarding the characters. I really don't know how to describe it, I just feel that the leads weren't fleshed out as I like it. I feel as if there wasn't that much depth, be it their character or their interaction. I just feel like I read a book (obviously) or a romance story where the hero sweeps the heroines from impending doom which is being single (obviously).

@4423hee That was why I love what you wrote, reading Mr. Darcy's POV gave him so much depth, reading his thoughts with our heroine here, which is Adele, made me want to do a cartwheel in absolute delight. It just made me so giddy. Tbh I never got the hype of Mr. Darcy in the movies or books, but in your writing I had conjured the thoughts of "why her when it should've been me" type of stuff. And I also really loved your heroine in the Trilogy. She was not quick to judge over the circumstances regarding our hero and I absolutely loved their banters and the way you wrote her older which may have not fit given that time period, but I would not like it any other way. I dare say she also inherited her mother's dramatics in handling some situation, and again I quote, who doesn't love a little drama. I am sorry this may have been quite a wordy message or review whatever you may address this, I only wanted to say I adore your work and I hope you still continue to write dear author. I cannot express how much I really loved it. PS. I also shared that English is not my first language, but I find it really easy to understand what you wrote, there wasn't any over dramatic wordplay or brain juice evaporating sentences which require me to think for more than a minute. PS. again I'm really sorry if you will read this as it is quite lengthy, this is my first time writing a review to any fiction or novel I have read so you can tell there is still excitement here.
