I just wrote an essay on disobedience in the pursuit of social progress and had a WHOLE PAGE on the 1899 newsboys strike. Compare that to my third-of-a-page paragraphs for the American Revolution and Rosa Parks.
          
           I am shamed but also proud of myself.

A little mad at myself because I didn't think of making a parody of Blood Drips on Newsies Square at theatre until right before our last performance. Ugh, it would've been great. A truly lost opportunity. Maybe when I'm a senior because then I can rope the underclassmen into doing it. ;)
          
          On the bright side, I got my friend to watch Newsies Live and now she loves it. Mission accomplished.
