Please go read my book! it's a young adult romance with heavy mental heath centric plot and found family.

          Title: Silent Solitude
          Author: Ellie Kim
Blurb: Desperate for a fresh start, Josephine and her family move to the coastal town of Nags Head, North Carolina. Tragedy after tragedy, Josephine is isolated and spiraling closer to the empty void of a sky that used to glow with stars. Everything seems normal until a boy demands answers and the truth comes out.
A story of a girl whose skies are starless and dark with terror and a boy who tries to light the entire galaxy for her.

Aight to all seeing this who are guilty of it, stop commenting on stuff and comparing it to something else.
Something can have the same sort of premise without it being a clone, great example is the barbie attic and handmaid's tale. As I'm aware the only thing they have in common is the whole women are the bottom rung in society but guess what? It's not even original to the Handmaiden's tale, hate to break it to ya but that stuff happened in real life. People went through this kind of thing on a daily basis before all of the human rights and women's rights movement came to be!

So in the wise words of Mark Twain
"There is no such thing as a new idea. It is impossible. We simply take a lot of old ideas and put them into a sort of mental kaleidoscope. We give them a turn and they make new and curious combinations. We keep on turning and making new combinations indefinitely; but they are the same old pieces of colored glass that have been in use through all the ages."
