I think i’ve spent longer than I should’ve on just the world building ^_^ I feel really inspired by your The Leaders fanfic, but i’m trying to use as many historical events as i can!!

hmm okay so there are two general approaches to writing and i feel like as soon as you figure out what works for you, it gets easier. the first is that you outline everything— how the fic starts, the plot twists and the conclusion. you outline it as best as you can and follow it (while still allowing room for flexibility).  
            
            the second approach is that you just… write. if you’re like me lmao i have almost never created a written outline! i just do like a little paragraph of what the fic is going to be about and start writing and see where it takes me. this means that i go back to edit a lot and sometimes i even scrap some scenes out. 
            
            good luck writing! i hope it comes easy to you. experiment with different approaches, even a combination of a good outline plus freestyling and find out what works for you! don’t be too scared to go back and edit. and most importantly, if you stop having fun in the middle of writing, allow yourself a break. you are prob overthinking or stressing about sth, which is completely normal. take it easy and find a pace that works for you!

@RatKing143 omg i started head over heels but i dropped it a few episodes in bc i saw so much of it on instagram so it felt like a rewatch rather than a first watch 
            
            AND PLS! both are so good but i would recommend watching light shop first. it’s short. it will make you cry. 
            
            watching taxi driver later will kinda be like coping from what light shop will make you feel. you have to tell me when you finish watching light shop! i swear no one understands me im obsessed with that drama
