Glad you liked my work :D About your question, I had originally planned a separate, interlinked backstory for Zac and Jax that would've explained what history they have with each other and the reason for their present behaviour. Unfortunately, it never ended up making it into the final draft. I would have liked to add the details of it into the plot even now, but it has been years and as of now, I'm too busy to edit this story. I apologize if this is a disappointing answer :(
