I just finished reading your story and I loved it so much! Your writing is amazing, and I kept thinking how cool it would look as a comic. The tension and intrigue in the Surgical Suite scene especially the moment when MotherBot discovers the SFV immunity on the boy’s clothing and Mallory connects it to the mysterious female donor was so gripping. The way you built the atmosphere, from the eerie blue lighting of the lab to the high-stakes medical analysis, would translate beautifully into visual storytelling. I could already picture the panels: the holographic interface displaying the boy’s injuries, Mallory’s intense focus as she reviews the security footage, and the dramatic reveal of the “M” carved into the truck bed. It’s such a suspenseful and immersive moment!
I’m a commissioned artist, and I’d love to draw your story into a comic. No pressure, of course. I just think your work would look awesome in comic form. The dynamic between MotherBot and Mallory, the tension-filled atmosphere, and the mystery surrounding the SFV immunity would make for a stunning visual narrative. Plus, the futuristic and dystopian elements of the story would be a dream to illustrate!
