I don't have much experience in writing. But there are two ways you can start writing a story. before writing find a peaceful, calm place. Grab a coffee or something. just relax. 1st way is, think how do you wanna start the story. Imagine yourself living in the story. then come up with several ideas. enjoy imagining things and you will come up with a great idea. 2nd way is, just start! sometimes we think too much. we want to have the perfect start. which may lead to procrastination. so just start. just write down whatever the idea come to mind. it doesnt have to be perfect. you will be more creative and come up with great ideas as you write the story.
side not - if you are not writing a fanfic , have an idea about each character like their personalities, their backgrounds. it also helps to start a story. hope this comment helps you. Good luck with your story! ❤️
