I didn't think I'd need to do this, but hear goes nothing.

I'm starting to get pissed off by the comparisons between XG and other K-Pop groups. Y'all don't know the amount of anger I feel anytime I watch an XG-related video and people in the comments are like, "Oh, this is why XG always dominate. They are so much better than childish K-pop." and shit like that. I also encountered a comment in a reaction video where the person said that k-pop is unoriginal and a rip-off of black culture. As a 100% black person, I think this makes zero sense. People just blindside the fact that there is much more mature K-pop content like Taemin, Mamamoo, Jessi, Hwasa, etc. and just focus on the poor quality or upcoming but not so excelling 5th gen groups, comparing them to XG. If you do this, please stop. You clearly don't know much about K-Pop and just feel like glazing XG because they're your favourite group.
(BTW, I love XG so much but I can't stand baseless and incomparable comparisons)
