06/28/18: hey guys. if you’re reading this i just want you to know that this is goodbye. I no longer fantasize about Shawn Mendes or dream about meeting him or whatever. I have a boyfriend and a job and im going off to college and I no longer have time or care enough to write fanfiction. Shawn was a large part of my earlier teen years and I’m so glad I began writing, however the stories you can read from this profile are from several years ago. They’re childish and sometimes poorly written and the plot is unoriginal and cheesy, and for that i apologize. for the sake of anyone who reads this or for whatever reason reads my books, im going to keep my "books" up, & maybe one day I will come back and read them because at this point I have forgotten my own characters' names.
there are many other authors out there that write quality fanfiction, and i am not one of them. i also encourage everyone reading this who writes fanfiction to find love in the real world, not online over the stories you write or with famous people who will never know your name. I challenge you to stop writing about love / sex / relationships / etc until you know what it’s truly like; it’s all much more different in the real world than it is through digital pages. once you find someone you truly are in love with, I believe you become less infatuated with famous or fictional characters and more with the person who’s laugh and smile resonates in your mind from the time you first stir in your sheets to the time you’re crawling back into them. Honestly, i cant remember the last time i even like one of shawn's pictures on instagram (and maybe if I wasn’t so damn nostalgic i would unfollow him)
anyway, for what it's worth, thank you for giving me and my crappy stories a chance and making 14-year-old me a very happy gal. ill always remember the friends ive made on here.
