So a couple announcements: 
          
          First, and this is the big one.  Fated Mates of the Drakoan Season 1 is now officially available in eBook, paperback, and hardcover formats.           From Episode 15:
          Scottie was trying very hard not to lose his shit right now, but it wasn’t easy.  His mind was officially blown, and for all that he wanted to keep his cool, inside he was bouncing around like a kid who’d just discovered a new hyperfixation.  He was breathless and overwhelmed, and he… just… couldn’t… believe it.
          Van was his mate.
          It was everything he’d hoped for and more, because they were fated, and he was pretty sure that meant this was it.  Based on what he’d just been told, this was a forever kind of thing, the kind of thing he’d always dreamed of but had yet to find.  He never imagined that his crush on Van would lead to this.  Some part of him had assumed it would be temporary and before long, he would be crying on Jess’s shoulder yet again.  
          That was how all his recent relationships ended, after all.
          But this was it.  They were a thing.  He didn’t really know what that would mean in the long run, how they would make it work, but he didn’t care.  He could take whatever came their way as long as they got to be together.
          Holy shit.

          A little snippet:
          
          Van sighed, looking away again.  “Our Drakon forms, they’re rare.”  Then he jerked his head up to aim a glare at Grace, raising his voice slightly, probably so she could hear.  “And they’re not something to aspire to.”
          Grace snorted in amusement, but said nothing.
          “Then what are they?” Scottie asked, desperately curious.
          Van glared at Grace for a moment longer before facing Scottie.  “An evolutionary quirk, an artifact of a bygone era.  They are an unfortunate part of our makeup, our biology, that under ideal circumstances would never resurface.”
          “Then why did it?”
          Van looked away, dropping his face into his hands.  His next words were muddled, but Scottie made them out none-the-less.  “Because of you.”

So, a little update.  
          
          There's a couple episodes of Fated Mates of the Drakoan that'll be first drafts, specifically the upcoming episodes 8 and 12.  For reasons outside my control, I wasn't able to edit it for my original release to my subscription, and I haven't had an opportunity since to go back and edit them.  There's still a possibility that I will be able to go back an edit episode 12 before it goes live, but I wouldn't hold my breath on that.

Hey guys!  
          
          So it's taken a while, but Season 2 of Fated Mates of the Drakoan is finally about to start posting.  This has taken me for-ev-er because I recently moved (then experienced a winter funk that just kicked... my... ass...) and couldn't write for several months.  
          
          But that is now over and the first episode of Season 2 will post on April 11.  Season 2 features Scottie and Van, and like before will be posting every other week.

          So Season 1 of Fated Mates of the Drakoan is now finished.  There will be a delay before Season 2 starts, which will be on September 20.  Since my subscription is ahead, Season 2 is already started there, but since they had to wait, so do you guys...
          
          Season 2 is Scottie and Van's story, and I'm already really enjoying writing it.

Just finished episode 28 of Fated Mates of the Drakoan.  I'm getting really close to the end of season 1.
          
          Sneak Peak (Live to Intersellar Crewmembers on Friday, Live here on July 26):
          
          “Will you stay by my side?”  He held his breath, afraid she would say no.  He was terrified that without her by his side, he couldn’t maintain control, especially in this volatile situation. 
          
          She nodded.  
          
          “Good.  Stay behind me.  I’m going to go out there and deescalate the situation.”
          
          “You’re going to what?!”
          
          But he ignored the exclamation.  He could have tried to reassure her, but he wasn’t sure if his words would have helped or alarmed her further.
          
          So instead, he turned back to the door, wrenched it open, and stepped out into the madness beyond.

Just finished episode 26 of Fated Mates of the Drakoan.  I'm looking forward to the next episode as the shit's gonna hit the fan a bit then.  ;-)

          	Maybe it’s fine.
          
          	Maybe I won’t lose control.
          
          	Maybe I can still manage this.
          
          	The thought made him smile. Maybe he wouldn’t change. Maybe it would be fine. Maybe he would get this under control, and things would just go back to normal.
          
          	But then the door opened, letting in a human in a suit, along with the scents and sounds from the hallway.  
          
          	There were footsteps and doors opening and closing.
          
          	There were muddled conversations.  
          
          	There was the scent of food, probably from the mess hall.
          
          	Then there was the scent of blood.
          
          	The scent was faint, and deep down he knew it wasn’t recent, but it was familiar. It brought to mind that clearing soaked in blood. It brought to mind Jess being injured. It brought to mind the claw marks on her belly. And then his nose zeroed in on the scent of her blood, and instinct took over.
          
          	He roared.

Just finished episode 23 of Fated Mates of the Drakoan.  I had some fun with this one.  Still a bit dark, but moving toward a big reveal (that will be a surprise to probably no one...

          Jess froze. 
          Wait. 
          Davin’s here? 
          But that didn’t make any sense. Surely, if Davin were here, he would have said something by now. He would have been trying to reassure her or stop this beast, right? He wouldn’t just be standing there, right? 
          The only answer to Van’s question was another growl. 
          He turned, gesturing for the others to leave. 
          Wait… 
          Come back!
