@-hoodsreborn ❝ blueberry muffins, i thought about cookies but i think it'll cheer you up more than me. ❞ she commented as she used a dry towel to cover her hand from the stove's handle, her face being greeted with the warmth and the humble smell of muffins. meanwhile, sam hadn't seen her family in awhile. nor she hadn't been home since being separated. it stung as it was a reminder that she was and felt alone. ❝ do you want to talk about them? i'm all ears. ❞ sam offered to hear jason, she isn't mean or dismissive. especially when it comes to her friends.
@theflyingsnxwflake jason couldn't help but look towards the kitchen at the mention of her baking . " what did you bake ? " he asked after a moment . and yeah bad dreams to say the least . he still often got nightmares about joker , the lazarus pit , waking up in his own damn grave and more .
@-hoodsreborn and that, sam pretty much understood. there's a few times where she's had trouble sleeping. this could be due to her feeling homesick or just her nightmares. ❝ bad dreams huh? you're lucky i just baked. ❞ she said with a small smile, perfect timing it was as sam was waiting for the tray of muffins to cool down a bit.

@-hoodsreborn the brunette chuckled at his reaction upon hearing those words, sam had always baked, it's what she looked forward to whenever she didn't patrol or practice on her fighting skills. ❝ ill let you know when they're ready then. ❞ she said with a smile before walking to the kitchen, humming to herself as she pulled her phone out to search up the ingredients for the three cookies. ㅤㅤ
@theflyingsnxwflake at the words taste tester , his eyes lit up and was looking over at her . " hell yeah , i'll be your taste tester . " he didn't mind in the slightest , especially since he would get to taste test cookies .
@-hoodsreborn the reason why she asked him was because she was planning on baking and she definitely needed a taste tester. ❝ well... i need a taste tester, im going to bake cookies. those soft chocolate chip cookies, snickerdoodle cookies and white chocolate raspberry. ❞ she explained to him, not much work for him. all he has to do is give her his honest opinion and give it a try. ㅤㅤ
