You are exploring something similar to me, the relationship of two girls, with a boy involved, in the context of bladder issues. You write really well and describe the experiences well. I made the rookie mistake of not reading the Kaylee prequel, so maybe I will understand her behavior better when I do.

I've just read Kaylee's Wet Secret and it's really good. The narrative is propulsive, but what I liked most was how Kaylee tried to understand who she was as the problem got worse and persuade herself that nothing had changed. You do that so well.
