Hello readers and fellow writers. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and that you have a prosperous and happy New Year. As the new year approaches, looking ahead to 2026, I want to write with more presence and less urgency. This year isn't about rushing stories into existence or chasing perfection. It's about finishing well. About giving my work the care it deserves and taking the slow, deliberate steps towards publishing a book I can stand behind with honesty.
I want to spend more time noticing the small human moments, the ordinary quiet that often goes unnoticed. The pauses, the in-between spaces. The mundane details that make stories feel alive. Those moments are where my best ideas come from, and I want to protect them instead of rushing past them.
I also want to show up here more. To share work in progress, short pieces, thoughts, and questions. To read, comment, and connect. Writing can be solitary, but it doesn't have to be. I'd love to build a small, thoughtful community around stories, craft, and curiosity.
If you're here to read, to write, or simply linger in imagined worlds for a while, I'm glad you're here. Here's to a year of steady words, honest work, and stories shaped by being human first.
