As a tad less than mundane bloke , he didn't exactly understand what the lass was hinting at , nor the true nature of her sharp looking canines . He blinked slowly , trusting her words to be nothing more than the foolish confidence of the youth .

A smile toyed at his lips , ' of that I've no doubt , but me brother's caused some havoc with a large family . They've a few guns to their name , and even I'm not bulletproof . They most definitely will think you're one of us and take you for ransom . '
