Hey, y'all!

My name is Mikaela and I'm a seventeen year old from Upstate New York, where cows are more apparent than the billboards that you'll find downstate.

I like to think that I try to write everything; romance, young adult, historical fiction, fantasy, science fiction, etc. However, the main genres I use for my writing are young adult fiction, fantasy, and historical fiction. However, that's all subject to change.

When I'm not writing (which I'm doing most of the time), you can find me sleeping, eating, going to concerts, listening to music, acting or singing in community theatre, singing at another venue not mentioned, obsessing over fashion, or binge-watching Netflix. 

A guilty pleasure of mine is vintage EVERYTHING. I love to watch John Hughes films (which mainly inspire my work) and listen to music from the early '00s, 1990s (mainly grunge, but the pop is okay too), 1980s,  1970s, 1960s, 1950s, and even the 1940s. I love to get into conversations about any of those types of music as well.
