derrik has been distancing himself from those who he has harmed , it’s gotten to the point where he took himself out of school and has been homeschooled for a month or so . . he’s getting better and better with each day that passes , yet he is nervous to re-enter the school . but when he finally does it’s like he’s more alive than ever before , his once dark hues are now a vibrant shade of blue , along with that his cheeks are now rosy . i don’t know something’s just / different / about him— comment for a one-liner !

It was after school one day and Zach Dawson hadn't gone home. There was no football practice or anything but he just... didn't leave. He was sitting on the floor in the boys bathroom, leaning against the wall while hugging his knees to his chest. His head was back against the wall as well and his eyes were closed. His eyes were also red and it looked like he'd been... crying? Yes. Zach had been crying but he was glad he was alone so no one else would know. That was until he heard the door open and his eyes immediately opened in shock, tensing up a bit as he looked to see who it was.
