The sequel will be titled "The Beast Underneath" and it will center on Shannon's second year at Briargate; the vampires are gone but strange dreams and odd happenings around town have Shannon convinced the danger is not over. @Luelle83 Well, there's good news and bad news. Good news is--God willing--I don't have much more editing to do so the final few chapters should be able to able to come out relatively soon. (At least, the first round of editing will be done.) The bad news is, well, they are the last chapters, and I'm not sure yet when I'll be posting the sequel or what the update schedule will look like (I am the world's slowest writer so there's that.) I know the time gaps can be frustrating.

So I haven't been on Wattpad in a hot minute and I come back and I find out SBID is featured in the editor's choice! Nice! Ahaha I was rather certain it was going to quietly fade into obscurity because I haven't updated in a month. Oh well, maybe this is a sign I should get my act together

Hey guys! Okay, I promise I'll try to use the message board sparingly, but I got some exciting news this morning: Sarah Benadine placed second in the fantasy category in the Rebel Wars contest! I was honestly not expecting it so it made my day. I'd definitely encourage you to go take a look at some of the books that won something; there are some real gems in there :)

Do you hear that? The sound of a clueless loser humming "Happiness is a Warm Gun"? That's the sound of me shirking my responsibilities. I'm finally back with an update to SBID. I've legitimately been dodging my editing duties because I just don't want to do it. Sorry it took so long, but I'm back :)
